KOKRAJHAR, Feb 3: Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0, launched by NITI Aayog, was formally inaugurated on February 2, at the Srimanta Sankardeva Auditorium in Tamulpur under the initiative of the Tamulpur district administration.

The programme was held in the presence of District Commissioner Chimi Karan, with participation from BTC Deputy Chief Bijitgoura Narzary, local MLA Jalen Daimary, DRDA Project Director Bhaskarjyoti Baruah and other officials. Speakers emphasised the effective implementation of development initiatives across various departments in the district through the Sampurnata Abhiyan.

The speakers expressed hope that the programme would create public awareness and ensure that government schemes reach and benefit the people. Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 will continue until April 14.

It was further noted that coordinated efforts by departments such as health, agriculture, education, social welfare and animal husbandry would help Tamulpur gain a distinct identity as an “Aspirational Block.”

Officials of the district administration, VCDC chairpersons, Anganwadi workers and helpers and heads of various departments were present at the meeting, Public Relations Officer Vijay Bezbaruah informed.
