School timings rescheduled in Darrang due to cold wave

MANGALDAI, Jan 6: In view of the prevailing extreme cold wave, classroom timings of all government and private educational institutions in Darrang district have been rescheduled with effect from Tuesday.

According to an order issued by the Inspector of Schools, Darrang Circle, on Monday, the revised timing for Lower Primary schools will be from 10 am to 1 pm.

For Upper Primary to Higher Secondary levels, classes will be held from 10 am to 2 pm.

The order stated that the revised schedule will remain in force until further notice.

However, the timing of examinations conducted by any examination-controlling authorities will remain unchanged.
