Science & Mathematics exhibition at Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School

MARGHERITA, Dec 30: A Science & Mathematics exhibition, organised by the Eco and Youth Club of Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School, Margherita was held on Friday at its premises.
The programme started with the lighting of earthen lamp by chief guest Paresh Baruah, block elementary education officer, Margherita where block resource person – Chintu Baruah and Latumoni Gogoi; Margherita Journalists’ Association treasurer Mithun Baruah; Yog Vidya Pitham (NGO) Margherita general secretary Deep Acharjee; former headmaster of Adarsh Vidya Mandir ME School, Margherita Dilip Deb; president of Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School Raju Dey; SMC member Ruben Oriya; CRCC Margherita Cluster Rupali Acharjee; former headmaster of Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School Sailesh Sutradhar and former headmaster of Inthem ME School Chinmoy Chetia among others were present as guest.
Ajay Debroy, headmaster of Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School, Margherita said that the Science & Mathematics exhibition was organised by the Eco and Youth Club to bring awareness among the students about modern technology.
Total 34 students from 4 schools of Margherita – AR & T Co’s High School, Gandhi Vidya Mandir High School, Adarsh Vidya Mandir ME School, and Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School participated in the exhibition, where Rahi Modi and Depraj Sharma of Adarsh Vidya Mandir ME School were placed first, Sila Munda of Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School was placed second and Ritumomi Tanti of Lokapriya Gopinath Refugee ME School was placed in third position, said Ajay Debroy.
