HOJAI, Dec 26: The second anniversary celebration of HASIB was held at its office premises on Thursday. Notably, the Human And Social Innovative Brilliance (HASIB) Foundation is one of the leading NGOs in Hojai district, Assam.
The meeting was attended by the chief guest, Assam State Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind president Maulana Mushtaq Anfar and Mamun Imdadul Haque Chy (advocate of Gauhati High Court/ ex-MLA). Social worker Anwar Hussain, Hojai district AAMSU chief advisor Manowar Hussain (Bakul), principal of Jayanagar Madrassa Taiobur Rahman, former principal of Murajhar HS School Abdul Musabbir and other dignitaries. The purpose of the meeting was explained by the president of the foundation, Suleman Mashud.
During the meeting, blankets were distributed among the poor families and funds were distributed under the Ratna Smriti Scholarship Scheme and memorial book ‘Sopun’ of HASIB Foundation was also launched.
The meeting was attended by hundreds of people.
