SITA’s Co-Vice Chairman Holds Review Meeting At Udalguri

GUWAHATI, Nov 16:
 State Innovation & Transformation Aayog (SITA) co-vice chairman Dhruba Prasad Baishya visited Udalguri district on Wednesday and held a meeting in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner, Udalguri to review the status of the schemes and projects under Aspirational District Programme.
The meeting was attended by the deputy commissioner, Udalguri, Dr Sadnek Singh, IAS and all heads of development departments.

The co-vice chairman Dhruba Prasad Baishya reviewed the progress of the indicators of five sectors of the Aspirational District.
In the meeting, Baishya interacted with the officials of development departments and forward his views and suggestions to the various schemes and also raised his queries to the Health department regarding the Atal Amrit Yojana and Ayushman Bharat and also regarding the immunisation programme in the district. He also enquired about the prospects of organic farming and about PM Kishan of the Agriculture department and also regarding fish farming in the district.

He enquired about the start-up programme in the district and advised them to take appropriate action against the wilful defaulters of bank loans.

The project director, DRDA coordinated the meeting. Biraj Boruah, ACS; GG Das, advisor (F & A), SITA; DS Hazari, ARO SITA and other officials of district administration attended the review meeting.
