Social worker Narayan Prasad Goutam passes away

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Dec 1: Narayan Prasad Goutam, a retired teacher and well-known social worker from Samar Dalani, passed away on Monday at his residence due to age-related ailments. He was 83.

Goutam retired as an assistant teacher from Naduar ME Madrasa, now Naduar High School in 2010. He was actively involved with several socio-cultural organisations in the greater Samar Dalani area, earning respect and admiration from the community.

His demise has been widely mourned locally. He is survived by his wife, three sons, a daughter and numerous relatives.
