Special village meet held at Darrang

DALGAON, Dec 2: The Revenue and Disaster Management department of the government of Assam has launched Mission Basundhara 2.0 to bring about comprehensive reforms in land tenure issues.
On the occasion of Assam Day, special village meets were held across Darrang district under Pathrighat, Dalgaon, Sipajhar and East Mangaldai Revenue Circle.
Officials of the Revenue and other respective departments briefed the public about the benefits of Mission Basundhara, Pradhan Mantri Krishak Samman Nidhi, computer literacy and many other government schemes.
Attending the meeting, Darrang DC Pranab Kr Sarma briefed the facilities of Mission Basundhara 0.2 and other related government schemes and urged people to come forward and take opportunities of the schemes.
District development commissioner, DRDA, executive engineer and panchayat office bearers, additional commissioner and assistant commissioners of Darrang also took part in the village meets along with the circle officers at various places in the district.
