Suklabaidya Lays Foundation Stone Of CC Block Road In Irongmara Of Cachar

SILCHAR, April 12: Minister for Forest and Environment, Excise and Fisheries, Parimal Suklabaidya laid the foundation stone of CC Block Road connecting Srimapally to Sashan Ghat of Irongmara Ward No 1 at a cost of Rs 6 lakh under the 14th Finance Commission Iirongmara GP under Barjalenga development block of Dholai Assembly Constituency of Cachar district on Monday.

On the same day, minister Suklabaidya also inaugurated the newly constructed toilet for the students of 118 no Primary School of Irongmara at a cost of Rs 2 lakh 88 thousand.

Speaking on the occasion, Suklabaidya said, “This road in Ward no 1 is very important for the locals. This road will bring a lot of changes in the transportation system in the area.”

He also highlighted various developmental projects in the Irongmara area. He said a number of important road works are underway in the area and some of them had already been completed.

Suklabaidya requested the GP representatives including the officer concerned to ensure quality of work. The minister also requested the local GP representatives to oversee the work.
