Out of these three vehicles, one will be used as a generator and the other two will be used as tankers.  These vehicles will be used to clean and remove the garbage from the drains in the Silchar municipal areas.  Earlier in urban areas this garbage was picked up by JCBs and first dried, but now these vehicles will directly suck the garbage and sewage from the sewers and dump it at Meherpur Trenching Ground.

While inaugurating these super sucker machines , Dipayan Chakraborty said that earlier many people tried to solve various problems in the municipal area but since the present government came into power in 2021 ,due to the relentless efforts of Silchar MP Dr  Rajdeep Roy such initiatives are being taken to improve the infrastructure of Silchar Municipal Board, He also expressed hope that these sucker machines will be very effective in making Silchar a beautiful and clean city by cleaning the canals etc.

MLA Chakraborty said that the government has already instructed to prepare a DPR of ten more kilometers on both sides of the 3.75m construction work of both sides of Rangirkhal.

Dipayan said that during the past floods, these super sucker machines were in dire need, in view of which its implementation has become possible.  He said that in the future these vehicles will be used by planning an action with everyone so that the drains can be cleaned by using these vehicles in the small streets and the city can be made beautiful and transparent.
