Teenage couple found dead

BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 9: On Monday evening, tragedy struck at Gela Hatinga Tea Estate as a teenage couple took their lives by consuming poison. The duo, identified as Kiran Sawra (17) and Boby Munda (16), were found lifeless by locals in the drains of the Gela Hatinga TE, prompting immediate notification to the authorities at Itakhola and Sootea PS’s. A joint police team swiftly responded, recovering the bodies and arranging for autopsies. The boy hailed from Gela Hatinga TE, while the girl was from Randupam near Hatinga, as confirmed by police sources. The tragic outcome of their premature love has enveloped the entire area in sorrow. Meanwhile, police investigations are underway.
