Tezpur University VC calls on Governor

TEZPUR, May 9:
Prof Shambhu Nath Singh, the vice chancellor of Tezpur University along with Dr Biren Das, registrar, Tezpur University, paid a visit to the Governor of Assam, Gulab Chand Kataria, at Raj Bhavan in Guwahati on Monday.

During the courtesy visit, Prof Singh sought Governor’s guidance and support in the university’s efforts to enhance the quality of education and research. The vice chancellor also apprised the Governor of the overall development of the university.

The Governor appreciated the efforts of Tezpur University and stressed the importance of promoting quality education in the state. The meeting concluded with both parties expressing their commitment to work together to ensure the growth and development of higher education in the state
