Tezpur, Sept 24: Three frauds identified as Abdul Wahab of Batamari, Mujjamil Haque of Bihiagaon and Anwar Hussain of Koroiani Nepali Gaon in Tezpur area were arrested by Tezpur Police on Thursday in charges of using fake land revenue receipts.
According to OC, Tezpur Police station (Sadar) Mintu Boro, the three accused produced the fake documents in the Tezpur court for some legal purposes while on suspicion the court communicated the concerned authority of Land and Revenue department and confirmed that it was fake.

However, on the basis of the complaint from the Tezpur court regarding fraudulence Tezpur police arrested the three mentioned accused.
“A racket involving a number of people in a chain in Tezpur has been running a business misleading the system. We have managed to nab three among them today,” Mintu Boro said and urged all concerned to be careful of such rackets.
