Tisso Releases Election Campaign Song

DIPHU, May 27: Incumbent BJP member of Autonomous Council (MAC) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) who is again contesting from Singhason, Amarsing Tisso released an election campaign song on Friday at BJP Mandal Committee Office at Bakaliaghat for Madhuram Lekthe, BJP candidate from 11 Langpher MAC constituency. The song is sung by Rajib Millik, Sarmon Kro and Robinson.

President of BJP, Langpher Mandal Committee, Dorsing Rongpi and other BJP workers were present on the occasion.

BJP candidate Lekthe along with former MAC Kangjang Terang, BJP worker Longki Bey and others were on a marathon campaign at various places in Langpher. It is also informed that chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will address an election rally at Bakaliaghat Sports Association playground on June 1.

In West Karbi Anglong, the Congress, BJP, All Party Hills Leaders Conference (APHLC) and independents are all out wooing the voters. Congress candidate of Hamren MAC constituency, Rupesh Bey, BJP candidate Mangal Sing Timung, Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC) candidate Memsing Terang, APHLC candidate, Angtong Ingti Kathar and independent candidate Janarson Tokbi are on a vigorous campaign.

BJP candidate Timung campaigned at Nok Terank, Linchika and Lang Minso under Hamren MAC constituency in West Karbi Anglong.
