JORHAT, Dec 1: Police have detained two youths, one being a juvenile, on charges of enacting a kidnapping drama to extract money from the father of the juvenile.

One of the youths (not the juvenile) has been identified as Ramesh Sahoo of Phansi Ali.
Meanwhile, two youths, Krishna Naidu and Rahul Basfor of Rowriah were arrested by police here on charges of snatching a bag and the mobile from a woman on Wednesday.
Police have recovered the mobile phone, bag and scooty used in committing the crime.
