UPPL Declares Formation Of Sub Committees For Conference

KOKRAJHAR, Oct 18:
 The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) party has decided to hold its third triennial conference with a three-day programme. The programme is scheduled to be held at Chandrapara playground on and from November 11, 2022, in Kokrajhar district.

A reception committee was formed with Kokrajhar East LAC MLA, Lawrence Islary as chairman and BTR MCLA, Madhab Chandra Chetry as chief convenor along with 40 others as executive members of the reception committee.
A general meeting of the reception committee of the UPPL triennial conference was held at Science College auditorium in Kokrajhar on Tuesday where several sub-committees were formed to make the conference a grand success.
Several sub-committees including fooding, transportation, water & sanitation, accommodation, guest reception, programme management, media & publicity, culture, etc., were formed.

The reception committee and central committee of the UPPL party have made the necessary preparations and arrangements for holding the upcoming conference in a grand manner.
MLA and chairman of the reception committee, Lawrence Islary said that several sub-committees and necessary strategies have been formed and prepared respectively for the conference.
He said, “The UPPL party will organise the conference in a grand manner where we are expecting lakhs of people to attend the conference from different districts of Bodoland Territorial Region.”

He also appealed to all sections of the communities to extend support and cooperation.
BTR MCLA and chief convenor of the reception committee, Madhab Chandra Chetry informed that the UPPL party will hold the conference in the second week of November and accordingly they formed several sub-committees amidst the huge presence of party worker and supporters.

UPPL general secretary (in-charge), Raju Kumar Narzary; former president of UPPL youth wing, Somnath Narzary; UPPL organising secretary, Chinmoi Dey; UPPL secretary for media & publicity, Hantigiri Narzary were prominent attendees on the occasion.
