KOKRAJHAR, April 6: The new office bearers of six block committees of the ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) under Kokrajhar district, took oath of office at a party meeting held at Kokrajhar Girls’ College auditorium hall on Wednesday.
The UPPL party has recently formed a new executive committee of all six block committees under Kokrajhar district to work for the uplift and welfare of the common masses in the district.

Islary said that the UPPL party has been emphasising towards the welfare and integration among all sections of the society with a dedicated manner since its inception in the region. He informed that recently the UPPL has inducted an MP in the Rajya Sabha through the spirit of BJP-AGP-UPPL alliance.
He said that the BTR government and state government are jointly carrying various developmental projects for the welfare of the region.
He also urged the party workers to be dedicated in their works to achieve the best results.
