Addressing a rally for a peaceful and harmonious BTR at Bijni town, Boro said the party has prepared strategies for contesting in all LAC segments of the region. He added that people across communities are coming forward to support UPPL candidates.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the present BPF-led BTC government, stating that it has failed to address public aspirations and grievances and accused BPF and Hagrama Mohilary of betraying the common masses by not fulfilling promises made during the last BTC elections.

Boro expressed confidence that UPPL would win a majority of seats in the contesting constituencies, emphasising the party’s dedication to all-round development for all communities in Bodoland and its adjoining areas.

Thousands of party leaders, supporters and well-wishers participated in the grand rally, which began at the Bijni district committee office, traversed Bijni town main road and flyover and concluded at the Bijni District Sports Association field.
