KOKRAJHAR, Oct 28: NTPC Bongaigaon, Salakati, observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2, under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
The program began with an Integrity Pledge administered by Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, in the presence of Amit Asthana, AGM (HR), Ananta Samanta, DGM (Vigilance), departmental heads, employees and union representatives.

As part of the week-long observance, an essay competition in Assamese and Boro languages was organised at Salakati High School on October 25, encouraging students to reflect on “Impact of Corruption on Indian Society.”
A special awareness session for contractual workers was also conducted at the station, emphasising vigilance, transparency and ethical practices in daily operations.

Oil India Limited (OIL) is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2 at its Duliajan headquarters and across all departments, under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
The week began with an inaugural ceremony at Duliajan Club, featuring the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, administration of the Integrity Pledge and a cycle rally flagged off by Binayananda Bharali, RCE-officiating, OIL. The rally aimed to promote community participation and ethical conduct.
As part of the observance, OIL is conducting student and employee competitions, quizzes, Gram Sabhas, street plays, and a vendor grievance redressal program in Duliajan and nearby areas, including Joypur, Tingkhong and Moran. Posters, banners and radio jingles are also being used to raise awareness about integrity and transparency.
This initiative forms part of OIL’s broader three-month campaign (August 18 – November 17) focused on preventive vigilance, case disposal, capacity-building, asset management and digital transformation.
Through these activities, OIL reinforces its commitment to integrity, transparency and ethical governance, contributing to national development and community welfare.
