“We demand President’s rule in West Bengal due to the increasing violence incidents on Hindus. The Mamta Banerjee government have failed to protect the  Hindus. Every day the Hindus are facing facing atrocities in Bengal, their houses were torched, properties were vandalised. The Murshidabad communal violence has proved that the government of West Bengal has failed to protect the Hindus and for vote bank they are not doing anything against the miscreants,” said Dimbeswar Hazarika, president of VHP, Dibrugarh.

Hazarika said, “We have submitted memorandum to President’s of India through Dibrugarh District Commissioner Bikram Kairi. The Mamta Banerjee government is not taking any action against the miscreants. The police in Bengal have failed to control the unruly mob who vandalised public property.”

“After the violence the hindus are started fleeing from Murshidabad because their life is in danger. President’s rule is the only solution to bring peace and stability in West Bengal,” Hazarika said.
