World Physiotherapy Day observed at Rampur

GUWAHATI, Sept 9: Move Well Plus Physiotherapy, Wellness & Rehabilitation Center celebrated World Physiotherapy Day on Thursday.
An awareness meeting was also organised by Move Well Plus Physiotherapy, Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in collaboration with Rampur Football Center at Rampur under Palasbari LAC in Kamrup district. The day is celebrated to make people aware about the critical role of physical therapists and chronic pain therapies in keeping people healthy and fit.
“Patients should never undertake physical exercise without proper and scientific advice. Physiotherapy can be an appropriate alternative treatment for various types of pain and other related diseases,” said Dr. Pallavi Nath, chief physiotherapist of Move Well Plus Physiotherapy Center Vip – Uparhali.
In the meeting, Anil Kalita, head teacher of 31 no Dahali L P School said that physiotherapy is now popular in India.
Journalist Bimal Sharma and leading sports coach Amarendra Nath Thakuriya also delivered their speech on physiotherapy in the meeting.
The awareness meeting was attended by Rampur Football Coaching Center’s chief coach Tapan Kalita, former state footballer Naren Das, former national player Rupa Das, journalist Abhijit Kalita and others.
