GUWAHATI, April 26: Britannia Marie Gold has announced the launch of Season 2 of its reality series ‘Her Start-Up Show’, a national platform aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs. The announcement was made through an official statement.
Streaming on JioHotstar since April 19, the show features 40 finalists selected from over one lakh entries received through the Britannia Marie Gold Her Start-Up Contest launched in July 2024. The finalists will compete for the coveted ₹10 lakh Golden Grant, with the top 10 participants receiving funding and others gaining access to mentorship through the NSDC Women Entrepreneurs Program.
Presented in six regional languages with subtitles and audio options, the eight-episode series highlights entrepreneurial journeys across sectors like food, fashion, sustainability, technology, and agri-solutions. Two episodes are released every weekend on JioHotstar.
The show is hosted by actress Shriya Saran and judged by a diverse panel including actor-entrepreneur Neha Dhupia, MasterChef winner Shipra Khanna, artisan Ruma Devi, and leaders from organizations like Britannia and NSDC India.
Siddharth Gupta, General Manager – Marketing, Britannia, said the initiative is part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to helping women “Do More, Be More” by providing access to mentorship, funding, and national visibility.
Officials from GroupM and Mindshare, the show’s co-creators, emphasized the power of media in driving economic empowerment and change, with Season 2 aiming to scale impact by reaching a wider audience across India.
‘Her Start-Up Show’ builds on Britannia’s earlier initiatives like ‘HerStore’ and the ‘Marie Gold MyStartup Contest’, continuing the company’s mission to uplift women entrepreneurs across the country.
