GUWAHATI, Feb 12: LG Electronics India has announced the third edition of its Mega Blood Donation Campaign, reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility with the message, “Life’s Good When Life’s Shared.”
The initiative aims to organize 400 blood donation camps across 70 cities, encouraging community participation, particularly among the youth.
Following the success of its 2019 and 2023 campaigns, which saw 188 camps and over 17,700 registrations, LG now aims to achieve 30,000 registrations in 2025. Each camp will offer essential medical checkups, refreshments, and certificates of appreciation to donors. LG has partnered with organizations such as Care Today Fund, United Way Mumbai, and Saksham Bharti Foundation to promote voluntary blood donation across India.
Hong Ju Jeon, MD of LG Electronics India, emphasized the company’s dedication to social initiatives, stating, “This third edition of our Mega Blood Donation Campaign reflects our commitment to making life better for people. Our goal is to mobilize communities to actively participate and spread awareness about the importance of blood donation.”
Beyond physical donation camps, LG will conduct a mass awareness drive through radio and digital media platforms to educate people about the benefits of blood donation. To facilitate participation, LG has also launched a dedicated microsite where individuals can pledge support, register for camps, and access important campaign information. The microsite will provide real-time updates on camp locations and guidelines for first-time donors.
Through this initiative, LG Electronics India continues to promote the spirit of sharing and giving back to society, reinforcing the belief that “Life’s Good When Life’s Shared.”
