ICAI Guwahati Branch holds memorial lecture on recent GST circulars

GUWAHATI, Jan 10: The Guwahati Branch of the Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organised the S Vaidyanath Aiyar Memorial Lecture on “Recent Circulars in GST – Important Aspects” at ICAI Bhawan here on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

The programme was held under the chairpersonship of CA Raginee Goyal, Chairperson of the Guwahati Branch.

The memorial lecture was delivered by CA Mohan Agarwal, who offered a detailed overview of the latest GST circulars and explained their practical implications for professionals.

During the session, the speaker highlighted key interpretational issues, compliance-related challenges and evolving perspectives under the GST framework.

The lecture proved beneficial for practising chartered accountants and other professionals dealing with indirect taxation.
