Kumar Engineering Introduces ‘Electronic Goods Carrier’

GUWAHATI, May 3: Assam-based auto manufacturing company, Kumar Engineering introduced ‘Electric Goods Carrier’ on Tuesday with the base model ‘Kumar’. Notably, it has a gross vehicle weight of 756 kg and this vehicle will deliver 1.42 KWs power at 1500 RPM.

The company chairman ambassador Deepak Vohra informed that after taking I-CAT approval from the government of India, the company has introduced this product which is quite capable to carry 310 kg weight and in one charge the vehicle range will be 100 km and the specially designed battery is quite capable to get full charged in 4 hours.

Kumar will be available in the Assam market with the MSP of Rs 199888 to be sold from its sales & service outlets located in eighteen different locations in Assam. Notably, Kumar Engineering is very much hoping to achieve a 25-35% market share in the Goods Carrier segment in Assam within the current financial year. Managing director Kumar Gaurav was also present in the meeting along with CEO Ashok Bhattacharjee.
