GUWAHATI, Feb 7: Rajasthan Lime Udyog, a trusted name in home improvement solutions in Assam and the Northeast for over three decades, has forayed into the lifestyle segment with the launch of Nilkamal Homes, the largest furniture studio in Guwahati.
With this expansion, Rajasthan Lime Udyog has broadened its portfolio beyond building materials and home solutions such as tiles and sanitaryware.

Nilkamal Homes, the retail arm of Nilkamal Limited, inaugurated its first large-format store in Guwahati on February 7.
According to an official statement, the store was opened by Veenugopal, chief business officer of Nilkamal Homes, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s national expansion.
With this launch, Nilkamal Homes’ pan-India presence has expanded to over 60 large-format stores.
Located at Universal Metro Walk, opposite Maniram Dewan Trade Centre on NH-37 at Betkuchi, the new outlet spans a large area and offers an extensive range of furniture and décor for every part of the home.
The collection includes sofa sets, dining furniture and bedroom ranges, along with furnishings, wall accents and accessories designed to combine comfort with aesthetics.
Speaking on the occasion, Shubhomoy Biswas, Manager of the Furniture Division, said in a statement, the launch of the Guwahati store reflects the company’s commitment to reaching customers across India with premium home lifestyle offerings.
He added that with more than 60 large-format stores nationwide, the focus remains on delivering an enhanced shopping experience and high-quality products that help customers create homes they truly cherish.
Rajasthan Lime Udyog, the franchisee owner of Nilkamal Homes in Guwahati, said the collaboration would enable city residents to access the Nilkamal legacy locally.
Jagdish Prasad Bharuka of Rajasthan Lime Udyog said the store offers a one-stop solution for furniture and home décor needs, combining design, quality and value.
With this partnership, Rajasthan Lime Udyog aims to further strengthen its long-standing relationship with customers by extending its offerings from construction and interior solutions to complete lifestyle and living solutions.
