GUWAHATI, July 26: Shyam Steel extended a helping hand in distributing relief materials to families affected by the devastating floods in Assam. Notably, the company has set up various camps in the flood-affected areas and the relief materials will be distributed from these camps to all the affected people in the area. Further, more relief camps will be set up in areas like Boromboi, Baihata, Kolajol, Hailakandi, Karimganj, Silchar, Morigaon, Raha, Hojai, and Dhemaji. Over 3500 relief kits containing rice, wheat flour, pulses, cooking oil, salt, turmeric, matchbox, candles, cattle feed, mosquito net, steel plate, and steel glass will be distributed in the flood-affected areas.
“Shyam Steel is standing shoulder to shoulder with everyone in these difficult times. We have started distributing relief materials in flood-affected areas. We have a team stationed who are distributing the relief materials on an urgent basis to the affected people. We will provide more support in such relief and restoration activities,” said Lalit Beriwala, director, Shyam Steel Industries Ltd.
