GUWAHATI, Feb 12: Samsung India on Tuesday unveiled the Galaxy F70e 5G, the first smartphone under its new Galaxy F70 Series, targeting Gen Z users with a focus on camera performance, display smoothness and premium design.
According to the company, the Galaxy F70e 5G features a 50MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, paired with a depth sensor to deliver sharper portraits with natural bokeh effects.
The device also includes a Night Mode aimed at improving low-light photography, while an 8MP front camera supports selfies and video calls.
The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, designed to offer smoother scrolling and improved responsiveness across apps and games.
It also comes with High Brightness Mode (HBM) for better visibility under sunlight.
In terms of design, the Galaxy F70e 5G carries a premium leather-pattern finish on the back and measures 8.2mm in thickness.
The device is rated IP54 for water and dust resistance and will be available in two colour options — Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue.
The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and supports multiple 5G bands.
Samsung said the chipset delivers smooth multitasking and improved gaming performance compared to the previous generation.
The device is backed by a 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and runs on Samsung’s One UI 8.
