ABVP Meghalaya prant executive meeting held

GUWAHATI, Dec 2: The executive meeting of ABVP Meghalaya
Prant held recently.
Discussing were held on the suggestions recieved from the
different units of different districts of Meghalaya regarding the

election of the state president, state secretary and
appointment of the office bearers, SWC ,SEC members of
Meghalaya Prant for the year 2023-24.
After thorough discussion and deliberation of the maximum
number of representation recieved for various responsibilities,
ABVP Meghalaya Prant unanimously re-elected Dr
Sashankutlang Khongthohrem and Shri Tengku M Marak as the
state president and state secretary respectively for the second
term for the year 2023-24.
Dr Sashankutlang Khongthohrem is basically from Pynursla
village of East Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya.
He achieved M.phil and P.hd degrees in Political Science. He is
the principal of Ri-War College, Pynursla and also the director
of Ashorphi Academy Hr Secondary School. He has been a
active member of ABVP since 2009. Before being re-elected as
state president of ABVP, Meghalaya he had held various
responsibilities and served a state vice president as well.
Tengku M Marak belongs to Dadangre Village of West Garo
Hills district in Meghalaya. He is an active karyakarta of ABVP
since 2018. He is a student and pursuing BA LLB from Shillong
Law College. He earlier held the responsibility of state joint
secretary. He is now re-elected as the state secretary of ABVP,
Meghalaya for the second term.
