ANSAM urges schools to enroll displaced children free of cost

SENAPATI, JUNE 22 (NNN): The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has urged high schools, higher secondary schools and all concerned  that the students displaced by the recent unfortunate violence in Manipur and opt for change of schools should be allowed admission free of cost facilitating the admission of the students to feasible schools without transfer and registration certificates with the fees waived to be charged for  up-dation of registration with BOSEM/COHSEM in pursuance of Commissioner (Edn.-S), Govt. of Manipur vide letter No MISC5/6/2022-EDN(S)-(EDN(S) dated 6th June, 2023 and Notification issued by Directorate of Education-Schools, Manipur vide No. AO/147/AC/2011/2011(4)-DE(S).

The ANSAM also appealed to the constituent  units and sub-ordinate bodies of the Naga student body to endorse  the “directive of ANSAM to ensure strict enforcement in all the schools of Naga inhabited districts in the state”.
