GUWAHATI, Dec 11: The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-29) of NCC is conducted by 1 Nagaland Girls Batallion NCC, Kohima, under the aegis of NCC Group HQ, on Monday, at Greenwood School, Dimapur.
The camp is being attended by over 550 cadets, from the senior and junior divisions, from affiliated institutions across the state of Nagaland.
During the course of the 10-day camp, the cadets will be trained and tested in various service subjects and will be groomed to have good military bearing and discipline.
A large number of guest lectures by experts in respective fields on various contemporary subjects of interest, including SSB Selection Procedure, New Recruitment Policy etc., are scheduled, along with a military equipment and band display.
The state forces are scheduled to conduct firefighting demonstrations during the camp.
Cadets will be tested on their skills in firing, tent pitching, extempore elocution, drills, and other military and sports events.
Cadets will further get an opportunity to showcase their skills at cultural events.
