Superintendent of Police Taru Gusar confirmed that Konia’s body was discovered early in the morning and has been positively identified by his family. Although the exact circumstances of Konia’s death remain uncertain, SP Gusar emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and more details are expected to emerge.

A case has been registered at Balijan Police Station under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which suggests that the police are treating the death as a possible homicide. In response to the incident, the police team has already visited the scene to create a sketch map, take photographs, and conduct an inquest. They have also interviewed available witnesses and performed a post-mortem examination (PME). Following the PME, Konia’s body was handed over to his family for final rites.

SP Gusar reassured that all possible angles are being considered in the investigation to uncover the truth behind Konia’s untimely death.
