The launch is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in the Northeast through its association with the global wellness brand Tiens.

According to an official statement issued by the company, the newly established facility is designed to offer a range of health and wellness products and services tailored to meet the needs of people residing in Itanagar, Naharlagun, and across the Capital Complex region.

The company described the initiative as a milestone in its vision to bring accessible, affordable, and holistic healthcare to the doorsteps of Arunachal’s citizens.

The inaugural ceremony was marked by a vibrant gathering, featuring community members, wellness professionals, and local dignitaries.

Noted politician and youth leader Yumlam Achung attended the event as the special guest, commending the initiative for its potential to support the state’s public health goals.

In his address, Achung highlighted the importance of encouraging private sector participation in the health domain, especially in a geographically challenging and developing region like Arunachal Pradesh.

“Initiatives like Hornbill Healthcare are timely and much needed. They not only contribute to the state’s healthcare ecosystem but also generate awareness about preventive health and wellness,” he remarked.

Representatives of Hornbill Biotech Pvt Ltd used the occasion to underscore the company’s broader mission of promoting wellness through science-backed products and services aligned with the Tiens global model.

The Tiens Group, an international wellness conglomerate, is known for integrating traditional practices with modern biotechnology, and Hornbill Healthcare plans to mirror this approach locally.

“Through Hornbill Healthcare, we aim to bridge the gap in wellness services and empower individuals to take control of their health,” a company spokesperson said.

The facility will serve as both a service center and awareness hub, offering health consultations, wellness products, and nutritional supplements.

The company also reaffirmed its intent to expand its footprint across the Northeast, citing Arunachal Pradesh as a strategic starting point due to rising awareness and demand for wellness-oriented lifestyles.

Plans are reportedly underway to establish similar centres in other districts to ensure a wider reach across tribal and urban populations.

Local residents and attendees welcomed the launch, expressing optimism about the potential benefits it could bring to the region, including employment opportunities, health education, and access to quality wellness products.

The official statement further noted that Hornbill Healthcare will operate in close coordination with community stakeholders and health professionals to ensure that its services are inclusive and culturally sensitive to the diverse population of the state.

The inauguration of Hornbill Healthcare signals a growing trend of private entities contributing to the health sector in Arunachal Pradesh, where terrain and logistical challenges often hamper access to conventional healthcare facilities.

As health and wellness continue to gain priority in the public consciousness, the new centre is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable health ecosystem in the region.
