International Cyber Olympiad 2024 for students of Classes 1 to 10

DIMAPUR, May 21: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Tuesday informed that the International Cyber Olympiad (ICO) is organising the International Cyber Olympiad 2024 for students of Classes 1 to 10.

The ICO is a prestigious competition that tests students’ knowledge and skills in computer science and also spreads awareness about the safe use of the internet and cyber security.

In a notification, the NBSE says it is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talent, compete with their peers on a global level and receive recognition for their achievements, the NBSE said in a notification.

The Cyber Olympiad is based on the national curriculum framework for school education developed by the NCERT. All the questions given in the question paper will be of multiple choice questions (MCQs).

The notification said the available exam dates for Round I (school level) for classes 1 to 10 are Aug/Sept/Oct/Nov and the last date for registration is 15 days before the exam date.

For Round II (international level) for Classes 3 to 10, the date and examination centre will be notified at the appropriate time, it said.

The mock test will be held in July for which a student has to register before June 30.

The board asked all heads of institutions to share this information with the students and encourage them to participate in the ICO 2024 competition.
