The primary objective of the Press Tour is to offer the media an opportunity to gain insights into the ground realities regarding the impact of central government schemes in Odisha.

The tour aims to allow journalists to witness firsthand the development resulting from these schemes in the state.

Additionally, the tour seeks to understand how the Information, Education, Communication (IEC) vans, deployed under the ongoing VBSY, convey messages to ensure 100% saturation of government schemes in Odisha.

Over the four-day stay in Odisha, the team will visit notable sites such as the Netaji Birth Museum and Maritime Museum. The itinerary also includes a visit to the ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA), focusing on gender-related research in agriculture.
