WILLIAMNAGAR, Jan 5: Deputy commissioner of Meghalaya’s East Garo Hills district, Vibhor Aggarwal has issued a communique informing the general public of the publication of final electoral rolls for three assembly constituencies of the district.
These assembly constituencies are 41-Songsak (ST) AC, 42-Rongjeng (ST) AC and 43-Williamnagar (ST) AC.

The electoral rolls, according to the communique, have been prepared with reference to 1 January, 2024 as the qualifying date and queries and inspection relating to the electoral rolls can be made in the office of the deputy commissioner (election) or in the offices of the block development officers of Songsak, Rongjeng and Samanda C&RD Blocks.
The final electoral rolls have also been distributed to the political parties by the deputy commissioner (election) in the presence of additional deputy commissioner in-charge of election, Dimseritha A Sangma and sub-divisional officer (C), Rongjeng, Reuben Ch Momin on Friday.
