METANOIA 2024 embarked on a multifaceted mission, aiming to offer students a spotlight to demonstrate their technical acumen across various realms of information technology. It fostered avenues for self-expression, lauded individual creativity, and facilitated seamless networking and knowledge dissemination among students and industry stalwarts.

The event was a melting pot of over 300 enthusiastic participants, not only representing Meghalaya but also emanating from diverse corners of India’s North East. With a judicious blend of online and offline events, METANOIA 2024 stood as a beacon of inclusivity, ensuring accessibility for participants from varied socio-economic backgrounds.

In a vibrant confluence of technical innovation and entertainment, marquee events such as BGMI (BattleGrounds Mobile India) and Mobile Legends beckoned participants from urban enclaves to rural hinterlands, underscoring the ubiquitous allure of gaming culture among the Gen Z cohort.

A pinnacle of METANOIA 2024 was the Innovation Showcase, spotlighting groundbreaking projects like ELiGen – a Miniature App Development platform on Serverless Technology crafted by TechSoul, Shillong; a pioneering ChatBot innovation from Assam Don Bosco University; and the Mini Smart Gate from the Department of Information Technology, MLCU. These innovations not only showcased the ingenuity of the participants but also underscored technology’s transformative potential in addressing real-world challenges. (NNN)
