Khel Maharan Sporting Event Gains Momentum With Support From State Associations

GUWAHATI, Sept 15: A meeting was convened here to organise the mega sporting event Khel Maharan, with the esteemed presence of Nandita Gorlosa, minister of Assam, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Kausar Jamil Hilaly, IAS, secretary to the Assam Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Pradip Timung, ACS, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare, Assam, and other dignitaries at Sarusujai Stadium, Guwahati.

During the meeting, fruitful discussions took place, and it was heartening to see all the state associations express their willingness to contribute to the event in any way possible. They have also committed to sending as many players as they can. The Khel Maharan event is scheduled to take place from November 1, 2023, to January 10, 2024.

The support and participation of the state associations signify the growing momentum and enthusiasm for the Khel Maharan sporting event, and it is expected to be a grand success.
