Angel Priya Saikia wins gold medal

DEMOW, June 26: Angel Priya Saikia (9), daughter of Madusmita Phukan Saikia and Partha Saikia (Akash), a resident of Amguri, Sivasagar and a student of standard (IV) at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Amguri has won gold medal in the Champion of Champions Series Northeast Zone (sub-junior) Kyorugi U-41 weight category, at Sonari College Indoor Stadium, Sonari, Charaideo held from June 22 to 24. Angel Priya Saikia has been selected for the national championship to be held at Nasik, Maharashtra and she has been undergoing training under the guidance of master Raju Konwar of Assam Taekwondo Academy, Amguri. This was stated in a press release.
