GUWAHATI, June 27: Assam Olympic Association (AOA) felicitated chief minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma’s remarkable initiatives for arranging the first-ever flight transportation for all the participants of the 36th National Games. Furthermore, it also acknowledged his commendable decision to provide government jobs to the medal-winning athletes from the aforementioned games, as well as his instrumental role in the success of the Assam Youth Olympic 2022.
The AOA conveyed its immense gratitude for the unwavering support and valuable guidance provided by the chief minister. The AOA delegation, led by general secretary Lakhya Konwar and vice president Bishnuram Nunisa, held a constructive discussion with the chief minister during a meeting held at the CM Office in Dispur, here, concerning the upcoming 37th National Games in Goa and the 2023 Assam Youth Olympics in Dibrugarh. The chief minister assured them of his continuous support for these prestigious events.
