Nagaon district Kho-Kho team leaves for Inter-District Junior Championship at Mirza

NAGAON, Jan 2: The Nagaon district kho-kho team has left for the 22nd All Assam Inter-District Junior (Boys and Girls) Kho-Kho Championship, scheduled to be held at Mirza Rural Stadium in South Kamrup from Friday.

The team, comprising 24 players, includes Jerin Begum, Nikita Tanti, Sneha Sargiari, Jyotismrita Bordoloi, Salma Khatun, Machuma Khatun, Ritika Basumatary, Jina Basumatary, Smrita Basumatary, Patrika Alchiari, Ranjita Khatun, and Mamata Narjari (girls), and Manash Changmai, Yasin Jahid, Seuj Pratim Bordoloi, Gribon Saikia, Gunjan Das, Deepmoni Das, Jangshrar Khaklari, Kamal Konwar, Sagar Khaklari, Hirakjyoti Hira, Jubin Basumatary, and Roje Khaklari (boys).

According to Prabhat Chandra Barua, president of the Nagaon District Kho-Kho Association, Nachiruddin Ahmed, working president, and Samir Hazarika, general secretary, the team is accompanied by coaches Hiya Moni Rabha (girls) and Mohammad Sahil Ahmed (boys), and managers Mrinmoy Basumatary (boys) and Preeti Lama (girls).
