KOKRAJHAR, May 5: The ruling party United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has come down heavily on the Opposition BPF party who has been making fabricated, unsuited politically viral remarks over regaining of government formation in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and termed that the BPF’s political space is now getting cohesion among the society. Addressing the reporters on Thursday at a press conference held at UPPL central office in Kokrajhar, UPPL spokespersons and BTR executive members Ranjit Basumatary, Wilson Hasda and Dhananjay Basumatary told that the present political propaganda made by the Opposition BPF party was only to create confusion and political chaos among the common masses in the Bodoland region. They said that the Opposition BPF party has been carrying political propaganda by making remarks for mass gaining spares. They said that there is no any input of ruling elected members and executive members merging with BPF as of now. They have claimed that all elected members and executive members (UPPL, BJP) are intact within the party as UPPL BJP GSP alliance government is going smoothly in the BTR government.

Basumatary said that the UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government has been working towards the welfare and development of the society since its inception and is hopeful that the government would be stable for a five-year term as the NDA alliance government is in Dispur and New Delhi. “There are no reports of ruling elected members merging with the opposition BPF party in today’s juncture. We are fully intact within the party. BPF’s fabricated viral rumors are totally baseless,” Basumatary added.

Hasda said that the UPPL-led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance is going on with integrity as BTR government is committed to work for the people’s welfare and development among the society in the region.
