Guwahati, May 2: Three friends met with a tragic end as they drowned in a river near Assam’s Manas National Park, according to reports on Thursday.
The unfortunate incident took place at Narayanguri near the national park when the three youths, identified as Dwip Saha, Raj Saha, and Abhijit Karmakar, went for a swim in the River Beki.

The trio reportedly reached the location on Wednesday (May 01) evening. The incident was discovered the following morning when one of the youth’s body was seen floating in the water.
The police, along with the Assam State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), conducted extensive search operations to recover the other two bodies. A Hyundai Eon vehicle with registration number AS-15L-5825 was also found at the incident spot.
