Periodicity of two summer special trains extended

GUWAHATI, June 6: To clear the extra rush of passengers, NFR has decided to continue the services of two pairs of special trains bearing no 06103/06104 (Nagercoil Jn – Dibrugarh – Nagercoil Jn.) & train no 06105/ 06106 (Nagercoil Jn – Dibrugarh – Nagercoil Jn), together will run for two trips each in both directions. These trains will run with the existing days of service, timings, and stoppages. Also, NF Railway has decided to operate a one-way summer special train between Guwahati and Howrah on June 7, 2024.

Accordingly, train no 06103 (Nagercoil Jn – Dibrugarh) special has been extended to run from June 7 till June 21, 2024, every Friday. In the return direction, train no 06104 (Dibrugarh – Nagercoil Jn.) special has been extended to run from June 12 till June 26, 2024, every Wednesday.

Train no 06105 (Nagercoil Jn – Dibrugarh) special has been extended to run from June 14 till June 28, 2024, every Friday. In the return direction, train no 06106 (Dibrugarh – Nagercoil Jn) special has been extended to run from June 19 till July 3, 2024, every Wednesday. The extension of these train services will benefit waitlisted passengers of other trains on those routes.

Moreover, train no 05680 (Guwahati – Howrah) one-way special will depart from Guwahati at 05:50 hours on June 7, 2024, Friday, to reach Howrah at 03:00 hours on Saturday. The one-way special train will consist of 21 coaches for the convenience of passengers. During its journey, the train will run via Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, and Bardhaman, etc., railway stations.
