GUWAHATI, Feb 16: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to operate two fortnightly superfast special trains between Kanyakumari and Dibrugarh. The superfast special trains numbered 06103/06104 (Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh – Kanyakumari) and 06105/06106 (Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh – Kanyakumari) will run for eight trips each in both directions. These trains aim to benefit waitlisted passengers from Northeast and North Bengal areas who need to travel towards Southern India.
Special train no 06103 (Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh) Superfast special will depart from Kanyakumari at 17:25 hours on February 16, March 1, 15, and 29, 2024, on Friday, reaching Dibrugarh at 20:50 hours on Monday. In the return direction, train no 06104 (Dibrugarh – Kanyakumari) Superfast Special will depart from Dibrugarh at 19:55 hours on February 21, March 6, 20, and April 3, 2024, on Wednesday, reaching Kanyakumari at 21:55 hours on Saturday. These trains will offer AC-3 Tier, AC-3 tier economy class, sleeper class, and general second-class accommodations for passengers.
