NFR to operate weekly summer special train

GUWAHATI, July 6: The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate five trips of a summer special train between Alipurduar Jn. – Secunderabad – Alipurduar Jn. in both directions to clear the extra rush of passengers travelling towards South India. Further it has also been decided to resume the services of Katihar – Delhi Jn. – Katihar Champaran Humsafar Express.

Special train 05479 (Alipurduar Jn. – Secunderabad) will depart from Alipurduar Jn. at 22:30 hours on all Friday from July 8 till August 5 to reach Secunderabad at 16:15 hours on every Sunday. Special train 05480 (Secunderabad – Alipurduar Jn.) will depart from Secunderabad at 16:35 hours on all Monday from 11th of July till 8th of August, 2022 to reach Alipurduar Jn. at 10:00 hours every Wednesday. The special train will consist of 20 coaches. There will be 1 AC Three Tier Coach, 1 AC 2 Tier Cum 3 Tier Coach, 2 General Seating, 14 Sleeper Class coaches and 2 Second Class Seating Cum Luggage Coach.

Train No. 15705 (Katihar – Delhi Jn.) Champaran Humsafar Express will resume its service from Katihar at 07:50 hours on Monday & Thursday w.e.f 14th July, 2022 to reach Delhi Jn. at 11:45 hours on Tuesday & Friday. Train No. 15706 (Delhi Jn. – Katihar) Champaran Humsafar Express will resume its service from Delhi Jn. at 16:35 hours on Tuesday & Friday w.e.f 15th July, 2022 to reach Katihar at 18:20 hours on Wednesday & Saturday. The special train will consist of 13 coaches. There will be 10 AC Three Tier Coaches, 1 Pantry Car, 1 Second Luggage, Guard & Divyaang Compartment and 01 Brake, Luggage Cum Generator Car.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
