NAGAON, Oct 29: The nominations of 11 candidates for the Samaguri Assembly by-election in the district have been validated, while three nominations were rejected after scrutiny and verification by the concerned authorities.
The candidates with valid nominations include BJP candidate Diplu Ranjan Sarma, Congress candidate Tanzil Hussain, AAP candidate Nurul Amin Chaudhary, SUCI(C) candidate Abdus Sabur Miya, Bharatiya Gana Parishad candidate Biren Basak, Rastriya Ulema Council candidate Rabbul Haque, and independent candidates Abdul Majid, Zahirul Islam, Fatema Khatun, Mosabir Ali Ahmed, and Shashi Tanti.
