Herbal healer offers hope to patients

MORIGAON, Dec 2: Oujari resident Dharmeswar Medhi, near Charon Beel in Morigaon, has earned widespread recognition for his herbal remedies, which have provided relief to patients suffering from conditions such as rheumatic pain and wrist pain.

People from across the state are flocking to Medhi’s home seeking his guidance and treatment for various ailments. His herbal medicines have reportedly yielded positive results, leading to recovery for numerous patients.

Many patients have reported positive results after using the herbal medicines provided by Dharmeswar Medhi. One patient, while speaking to this correspondent, said, “I spent thousands of rupees on medical treatments for severe knee pain, which suddenly occurred while I was returning from the market on a bike recently. However, I found relief soon after using the herbal medicine prepared by Dharmeswar Medhi.” 

Another diabetes patient stated, “I had high blood sugar and used insulin injections. When I started using the herbal medicine prepared by Dharmeswar Medhi, I was able to control my sugar levels, which feels like a miracle.” 

In response to the recovery of patients, Dharmeswar Medhi said, “I have been practicing herbal medicine for about thirty years after offering puja to the Goddess ‘Ma Bhagawati’ on the bank of Charon Beel. I do not know how the patients who come to me recover so quickly. I simply prepare herbal medicines for various ailments, including pain-related and skin diseases. Patients generally recover within a month, though it may take up to six months for critical conditions.”
