ITANAGAR, Feb 14: The Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre (BIC), DBT-APSCS&T Centre of Excellence for Bioresources and Sustainable Development (CoE for BRSD), Kimin, successfully organised a four-day workshop on “Multi-Disciplinary Approaches in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology: Network Pharmacology, QSAR Modelling, Virtual Screening, Role of AI in Drug Designing, and Transcriptome Data Analysis.”
The workshop commenced on February 11 and concluded on February 14, with the participation of 14 PhD scholars and M.Sc. students from various universities.
The primary objective of the workshop was to provide participants with Hands-on experience and theoretical insights into emerging trends in Computational Biology, particularly in Computer Aided Drug Discovery and Transcriptome Data Analysis. The program aimed to enhance research capabilities by equipping participants with knowledge in Network Pharmacology, QSAR Modelling, Virtual Screening, AI applications in Drug Designing and Transcriptome Data Analysis.
