Jounalist conferred with ‘Asom’ title

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Feb 20: Journalist Uttam Nath was conferred with the title “Asom” by Ahom Jatiya Mahasabha in a public meeting convened by the Biswanath district Yogi Sanmilani.

Nath was felicitated on the occasion of the recently concluded Me-Dam-Me-Phi.

The meeting was held at the Gereki Gaon namghar preemies on Thursday.

Nath was also felicitated by the Gereki primary committee of Yogi Sanmilani with a citation, gamosa and a collection of books.

Other than Uttam Nath, the district committee also felicitated Homeshwar Nath, Nagen Nath and Rupa Devi who have been selected in different portfolios of the state committee of All Assam Yogi Sanmilani.
