The commuters while speaking to media said, “We are happy to know the strength of the capital traffic police has been increased due to recent passing out of huge contingents of personnel from Police Training Centre (PTC) recently. The people of state are also happy with the onetime promotion to the police personnel who has been rendering their services for more than 15 to 35 years of deducted service to the state and country due to which the moral of the police force has been increased to many fold.”

It is a matter to let everyone know that the capital traffic police should do something in planned way with advice and suggestion from all stake holders for the better traffic management in city. It seems there is no proper traffic planning and the commuters has to face wastage of time in a radius of only few kilometers of National Highway four lane road in the city where the traffic move are always in maximum all the time since morning and evening hours, a commuter said.

It has been a matter of discussion among the general public that the state traffic and road safety cell of Arunachal Pradesh has introduced few traffic signals specially one at Try junction of Arunachal Pradesh legislative Assembly (APLA) and another at Try junction of 0 Point TInali but it is surprising to know that the one located at 0 Point TInali seems to be defunct and out of order for several months, another commuters said.

The commuters while urged upon the Arunachal Pradesh Police department, State Traffic and Road safety cell to utilise the said traffic signal equipments and apparatus which has been procured and installed by incurring huge amount of money   from state exchequers to shift it to the place where it is required.
